The Information Center is equally committed to providing “the people component,” or support services, whereby many patrons are able to utilize more completely the research and information resources available to them. A few of the support services the Information Center offers are:

  Borrowing Privileges
The Galveston Bay Information Center extends borrowing privileges to the public through the Texas A&M University at Galveston - Jack K. Williams Library. A special Borrower's Card Application must be completed and be submitted with a photocopy of your picture identification.

  • Focus -- Bay Issues & Programs
  • Publication Locator Service -- "If we don't have it, we'll help you find it."
  • Access to numerous Marine/Maritime resources, including:
      -All A&M University Libraries catalogs
      -Catalogs of Libraries worldwide
      -International Association of Marine Science Libraries and Information Centers

  • Archive Research Appointments
